This looks like a great app, but I’d sure like to learn how to better use it, e.g using functions and editing layouts. I’m bothered by the fact that I have to guess and experimant in order to get something to work like I want.

This here is the right chicsaw. Features up the wazoo, PCalc is the original, Classic Mac OS calculator application that keeps up with time. And that’s really important in our business!
I have used PCalc on multiple platforms since the Classic Mac OS days and this version continues to be an essential tool for anyone who needs more flexibility and power than the native calculator provides. The customizability in particular makes it a great tool for simplifying repetitive calculating tasks.
As an engineer, I’ve used the Mac version for several years in RPN mode … it’s a worthy successor to my ancient HP11 calculator. And as an international traveler, I find the quick currency conversion incredibly useful too. Then there’s the all important earth shattering cosmic constant, 42! (speaks for itself) The author has kept adding new useful features year after year, making Pcalc a great long term value, 5 Stars!!
